Why drivers pick us

A ticket bills you twice: once at the courthouse, and again on your insurance for the next three to five years. The second one is the part you can still do something about, and it takes one evening.

The price on the card is the price

You have already paid enough over this ticket. There is no certificate fee, no reporting fee and no rush-processing fee waiting at the last screen.

Reporting is included, not extra

We file your completion with the DMV and your court electronically and send you a receipt for your own records. Other schools charge for this. We do not.

Help from someone who knows the paperwork

Court notices are confusing and deadlines are stressful. Our California-based team answers the phone and the email, and they have seen your situation before.

Your schedule, not ours

Register now and start now. Do a chapter on your break, a chapter before bed. The course remembers exactly where you stopped.

As short as the law allows

Short chapters, plain language, and an exam written to be passed rather than survived.

Short chapters

Defensive driving and basic California traffic law, broken into sections you can finish between other things.

Quizzes that prepare you

A few multiple-choice questions close each chapter, so nothing on the final exam is a surprise.

A straightforward final

25 questions, 70% to pass, open book, and 2 attempts included in the price. No trick questions.

Sign in from anywhere

Any device with a browser. Switch from laptop to phone mid-chapter and carry on where you were.

Finished means finished

Pass the exam and your completion is filed straight away, weekends and holidays included.

A licensed lesson plan

The official traffic violator school curriculum, licensed by the California DMV for statewide use.

01

How the program works

California drivers may attend traffic violator school to mask a citation on their official driving record once every 18 months. Your court paperwork tells you whether this ticket qualifies.

Every court accepts it

Any city, any county in California.

On your schedule

Phone, tablet or desktop, whenever it fits.

At your own pace

Progress is tracked chapter by chapter.

02

Why take traffic school

A masked conviction stays off the record insurers and employers look at. That is the whole point: not the certificate, but what the certificate prevents.

Keeps a conviction off your public driving record
Protects you from an insurance premium rise
Matters if your job depends on a clean record

03

What is included

Short, plainly written sections
Video clips and illustrations
Clear multiple-choice quizzes
2 attempts at the final exam

Questions students actually ask

Every answer is on the page. Nothing is hidden behind a “load more” button.

Why should I attend traffic school?

Completing a licensed traffic violator school course masks the conviction on your driving record. That is what keeps it away from your insurer, and away from an employer who pulls your record.

Is this course licensed? Will my court accept my completion?

Yes. This program is licensed by the California Department of Motor Vehicles for statewide use, TVS E0787, and every California court accepts a completion from a licensed school.

Can I take the course from any mobile device or computer, anytime?

Yes. Any device with a browser and an internet connection, at any hour. Switch between them mid-chapter and the course follows you.

Does the course include free proof of completion?

Yes. Your completion is filed with the DMV and your court electronically, and you receive a receipt for your own records. There is no charge for either.

¿Está disponible en español? / Is the course available in Spanish?

Sí. The full course is available in Spanish — the same licensed program, the same price, the same electronic reporting. Choose the Spanish course at registration and complete everything, start to finish, en español.

How do I know if I am eligible to attend traffic school?

Your courtesy notice from the court says whether traffic school is offered for this citation. If it is, and you have not attended in the last 18 months, pay the court’s administrative fee and you can start straight away.

Is your course difficult to complete?

No. It is written plainly, broken into short sections, and the quizzes exist to prepare you rather than catch you out.

How long does it take to complete the course?

As long or as short as you want. There are no timers. The course saves your place chapter by chapter, so you can finish tonight or spread it across a fortnight.

What if I forget my username or password?

Contact the support team and they will get you back in. Details are at the bottom of this page.

Will I be tested on the material?

Yes. There is a DMV-required 25-question final exam and you need 70% to pass. It is multiple choice, open book, and 2 attempts are included in the price.

Personal Identity Validation questions — what are those?

The DMV wants to know you are you. At registration you answer a set of identity questions, and you are asked them again at points during the course. Answer them the same way you did at registration.

How do I register for the course?

Fill in the registration form and you are in the course immediately. It takes a few minutes.

How much does the course cost?

The price is on the card above, and it is the full cost of the course. Your court’s administrative fee is separate and is paid to the court, not to us.

How do I pay for the course?

On the site, by credit card — Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express — or a debit card carrying one of those logos. Payment is taken on a secure page after the registration form.

Is your site safe? Is my information safe with you?

Yes. Transactions are encrypted and we do not store your financial data. Student data is never shared with anyone other than the DMV or the courts, or where the law requires it.

What if I fail the final exam?

You get 2 attempts included in the price, and the exam is open book. If you are still stuck after that, contact support before doing anything else.

How does the DMV or court know that I completed your course?

We report it. On passing the final exam your completion is submitted to the Department of Motor Vehicles electronically.

Do I get a Certificate of Completion for my records?

Traffic schools report completions directly, so the DMV and the court get theirs from us. You receive an electronic completion receipt by email for your own file. A mailed paper copy can be added as a shipping upgrade and takes 5 to 10 business days.

Do you have a refund policy?

In most cases a student may be eligible for a full refund within 90 days of payment, provided no final exam has been attempted and no completion has been reported or certificate issued. Contact support to ask.

Deal with it tonight.

Register, work through it at whatever hour suits you, and we file the completion for you.
